The CurrentBody Skin RF Radio Frequency Skin Tightening Device uses the power of heat to instantly plump, firm and smooth your skin. Clinically proven to reverse the signs of ageing, this powerful hand-held device visibly and comfortably lifts sagging skin while evening out skin texture. Apply a mask-like layer of the RF Conductive Gel to clean, dry skin before every treatment for instant radio frequency activation.

HOW IT WORKS

Bipolar radio frequency waves pass through the skin from one pole to another, penetrating the deeper layers of skin where collagen is formed. When the skin resists these waves, it heats up, resulting in better circulation and immediate collagen production. For this process to be activated, the skin must remain at a steady 40 to 43˚C.

Everyone’s resistance can vary, which makes achieving a constant temperature a challenge. Each area of the face and neck takes a quick 5 minutes to treat, offering you the freedom to customise your RF facials based on your skincare goals. Here’s our guide on how to treat all 14 areas efficiently and effectively.

Forehead Focus: Glide up and down across your forehead to soften wrinkles. (5 minutes each side)

Brow 11’s: Slowly circle or glide up and down to soften between the brows. (5 minutes)

Crow’s Feet: Skim the top of your cheekbones with continuous, slow ‘side to side’ circular motions. (5 minutes each side)

Cheeks: Use slow circular motions over the cheeks for plump, bouncy skin. (5 minutes each side)

Youthful Smile: Gently move up and down over smile lines to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. (5 minutes each side)

Chin Refine: Small ‘side to side’ movements over the chin to smooth skin texture. (5 minutes)

Lifted Jawline: Glide up and down along your jawline to sculpt, lift and tighten. (5 minutes each side)

Neck Sculpt: Glide up and down across the neck to smooth wrinkles, tighten and lift. (5 minutes each side)

The Full Face: Address your every skin concern. Fade forehead wrinkles, brow 11’s, under eye and smile lines, smooth your cheeks, chin and neck. Sculpt and lift your jawline. This is the full-face treatment that does it all. (70 minutes total, 5 minutes each treatment area)

HOW TO USE

Step 1: Remove all jewellery from the treatment area, before applying a liberal layer of gel to clean, dry skin.

Step 2: Plug in the device, select your energy level and then touch the device to your skin.

Step 3: Once the green light starts blinking, move the device slowly over your treatment area.

Step 4: After 5 minutes, the light will turn orange signalling that it’s time to move onto the next area.

Step 5: Rinse away any excess gel and continue with your skincare regimen.

Step 6: Use once a week for 8 weeks, then treatments can be topped every 4-8 weeks to maintain long-term results.

Expert Tip: For new users to radio frequency, start on energy level 1. The higher the energy level, the more quickly the RF heats up.

DO NOT use if you have had a professional chemical peel, a professional facial abrasion or ablative laser treatments within the past 3 months.

DO NOT use if you are pregnant, intend to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.

DO NOT use if you have experienced a migraine in the last two years.

DO NOT use if you suffer from severe or uncontrolled endocrine or metabolic conditions, such as diabetes or uncontrolled thyroid disease.

DO NOT use if you have a general extreme illness, such as hepatitis, liver disease or epilepsy.
